Power estimate
A simple first-pass runtime estimate is:
runtime (hours) ≈ battery capacity (mAh) ÷ average current draw (mA)
Real runtime can be lower because of temperature, battery age, voltage conversion losses, transmit activity, GPS, displays, and other loads.

A battery estimate is an estimate. A distance is not a guaranteed range. A single successful packet is not proof of reliable coverage.
