Coverage & Nodes
A radio’s range is highly dependent on terrain, buildings, vegetation, antenna height, antenna quality, interference, and the configuration of the radios involved. A straight-line distance estimate is not a coverage guarantee.

Local coverage data is being assembled.
When the first verified node inventory is ready, this page will show:
- General node locations rather than sensitive residential details
- Node type and purpose
- Approximate elevation where useful
- Installation / power type
- Last verified date
- Links to relevant build notes
Privacy: We will not publish a precise residential address just because a node exists there. Node hosts can choose an appropriate public location description.
How to help map the mesh
- Take two or more radios to a known location.
- Record whether the target node is visible and how reliable the link is.
- Record the device, antenna, approximate location, and conditions.
- Share results with the community.
- Re-test after infrastructure changes.
For now, use the official Meshtastic map and tools as additional resources, while remembering that public maps can contain stale or incomplete data.
